Clip-On Thermal Imager (COTI) / Clip-On Thermal Imager – Long Range (COTI-LR)
The COTI easily attaches to existing Night Vision Devices (NVDs) to add additional capabilities. Low-power consumption, optimal sensor technology, and higher-performance optics integrate seamlessly to provide state-of-the-art long-wave infrared technology. Since COTI mounts on currently-existing NVDs with a bracket, the clip-on technology allows increased capabilities without the need to refit helmets for special equipment.
COTI can even be mounted directly on a weapon and incorporates a video in/out feature. The miniaturized design causes the unit to be lightweight. COTI consumes very little power and consequently can be used for extended periods of time. The unit's waterproof and rugged construction can withstand the harshest environments. With COTI, the user is even able to see into darkened openings and detect residual heat situational awareness at the highest level.
Enhanced Clip-On Thermal Imager (E-COTI)
The E-COTI easily attaches to existing Night Vision Devices (NVDs) to increase threat detection and situational awareness. Low-power consumption, thermal sensor technology, and high-performance optics integrate seamlessly to provide state-of-the-art long-wave infrared capability. With the ability to mount on NVDs with a bracket, the need to refit helmets with special equipment is eliminated.
Enhanced Clip-On SWIR Imager (E-COSI)
The Optics 1 Enhanced Clip-On SWIR Imager (E-COSI) is a multi-function device with replaceable display heads, allowing the SWIR image to be:
Injected into NVG, overlaying the SWIR image onto the NVG image
Seen during the day with an optional see-through day optic (for See-Spot operations)
Exported to outside devices for external recording/monitor input
Night Vision Devices (NVDs) work well for target pointing and marking/identification, when used with Near-Infrared Laser Aiming and Illumination devices. Now, E-COSI increases the effectiveness of legacy and recently fielded NVDs by overlaying a SWIR image onto a night vision scene. E-COSI can be used to see laser markers and designators during day and night operations. Also, the Heads-Up Display capability provides real-time, geo-referenced navigation/route execution for dismounted soldiers, reconnaissance, scout/snipers, Navy fast boat drivers, and/or pilots.
(2x Magnification Direct View See-Spot Device)
The E-COSI See-Spot is an augmentation kit that consists of a Direct View Display Head and additional components and software to add a "see-spot" mode of operation to exploit the E-COSI's SWIR imager's full sensitivity. The combined system is able to see and display the laser spot created by a target marker or designator under full bright sunlight conditions. This 2x magnification system is useful for "sighting in" targets of interest to a distance of 2000m, depending on target and atmospheric conditions.
Long-Range Thermal Viewer (LRTV)
The LRTV is designed for military and civilian applications and is fully qualified according to the most stringent standards. It is key to the success of any large-scale infantry modernization program, and is a valuable tool in rescue operations.
The LRTV is especially useful for infantry platoon leaders, and is ideal for Special Forces operations. When integrated into the GonioLight TI or GonioLight G-TI systems, it serves as a force multiplier, enhancing the capabilities of forward observers, and ensuring accuracy in even the harshest of visibility conditions. In addition, the LRTV is a tremendous asset during recovery efforts after natural disasters. The dual field-of-view cooled thermal imager allows search and rescue teams an unprecedented ability to detect and retrieve survivors of earthquakes, hurricanes or blizzards.
High-Resolution Thermal Viewer (HRTV)
The HRTV is a lightweight, multifunctional, long-range binocular system that provides operators with top-end situational awareness and advanced connectivity in the battlefield. Fully-integrated in less than 4.4 lb (including battery), the HRTV meets the most demanding expectations of dismounted operators - including Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP).
HRTV provides increased situational awareness at any time thanks to the integration of three complementary long range video channels: Cooled Thermal, Color Day, and Low-Light Level.
