responsive, highly skilled team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our
dynamic, face paced teams at both our Commercial Systems Division, located
in Westlake Village, CA and our Defense Systems Division, located in
Manchester, NH.
General Job Description:
You
will be involved in the design and development of opto-mechanical systems for visible, thermal infrared, and UV systems. This includes providing leadership throughout the design process, in support of a variety of programs ranging from prototypes to full production articles. Some travel may be
required.
Specific Job Requirements:
- BS/ME
degree in equivalent with a minimum of 5 years
experience
- Fluent with SolidWorks
- Knowledgeable about the mechanical requirements and issues relating to mounting high-precision
optics.
- Ability
to conceptualize and define architectures, design, develop, and document prototype efforts and support projects through the manufacturing
process.
- Interface
with customers and suppliers in technical areas relating to the
project.
Other requirements:
- Strong
organizational
skills.
- Solid
communication ability relevant to the preparation of technical reports and customer
briefings.
- Ability
to effectively deliver a product within schedule and
budget.
