Our highly responsive, highly skilled team is seeking a Senior Electro-Optical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic, fast paced Defense Systems Group, located in Manchester, NH.

General Job Description:
This position involves the design and development of Optical, Opto-Mechanical, and Electro-Optical systems for visible, near Infrared, thermal, and UV systems as well as non-imaging and illumination optics. As a Senior Electro-Optical Systems Engineer responsibilities will include requirements definition, imaging sensor selection, system performance modeling & testing, hardware development and system testing. In addition this position will provide key technical direction and system guidance to engineer’s on key programs and is the customer technical point of contact.

Specific Job Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years experience in systems engineering for complex Electro-Optical Systems.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Electro-Optical Imaging Systems including optical design, electronics image processing design and Opto-mechanical design.
  • Fluent with imaging sensor performance modeling (NVTHERM, SSCAM, and MRC).
  • Familiar with optics lab test equipment such as interferometers, MTF stations, and optical inspection devices.
  • Experience with development, debug and test of image processing electronics including knowledge in FPGA and DSP programming.
  • Technical Interface with customers and suppliers.

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player
  • Ability to effectively deliver a product within schedule and budget
  • Successfully lead a proposal capture team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point

U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain secret level security clearance is required.
